Village Hall updates

19th August 2021

The Village Hall is open for business and events and activities can now take place. However, as we all learn to live with Covid we will still need to manage events in a responsible and supportive way. With that in mind, the Committee will work with hirers and users to ensure the hall is as safe as it can be.

We will be retaining some current features of our Covid management, such as:

  • QR poster to support track and trace
  • hand sanitiser stations
  • Covid safety posters
  • encouraging the use of face coverings at more crowded events or in more enclosed areas
  • frequent cleaning of regularly touched surfaces
  • restrictions on attendee numbers for certain events

Our Special Conditions of Hire (.docx) give more details on how we are managing the Hall during this transition period. If you are thinking of using the Hall for an occasion or event, please see our bookings page for hall availability and to request a booking. For general enquiries, please contact enquiries@staintonvh.org.uk

Our programme of public events and activities, including our Farmers’ Market, Community Café, exercise classes and kids’ activities, is resuming.

Also, please consider donating to the Village Hall to ensure that we can continue to support this fabulous venue for the benefit of our community.
