The village hall has a large main hall and a smaller meeting room. You can hire either room separately, or the whole venue. Both rooms provide light, bright spaces and are air-conditioned.

Wifi is available throughout the building, and we have a music system with speakers.

There is also a reception area between the rooms, a modern kitchen, and toilets (including baby change). The building is fully accessible and has an accessible toilet.

Main hall

The main hall has:

  • a sprung wooden dance floor
  • a temporary stage available if required
  • 16 large tables, 9 small tables and 100 chairs
  • a large screen and projector

Capacity: 95 (85 if using the stage)

Meeting room

The meeting room is also modern, light and airy with large windows, and has a large TV screen.

The modern fitted kitchen has an electric induction range, extractor, commercial warming cupboard, large commercial fridge, small under-counter freezer, commercial dishwasher, microwave, toaster and kettles.

We also provide crockery, pans and other essentials to meet typical users’ needs. 100 cups, plates and sets of cutlery are available.

The kitchen is suitable for small parties, afternoon teas, etc., but is not a full catering kitchen. If you are looking for full meals for a large event, the King’s Arms pub and Brantwood Hotel in the village are happy to discuss your needs.

The hall has a large storeroom with space available for regular hirers to store equipment.

Car parking

The hall has six parking spaces. As parking is very limited, we do ask people to walk or use public transport when possible and park responsibly.
