The Tuesday Café
Tuesdays, 14.00-16.00
Our weekly Tuesday Café is a chance to have a chat over a cuppa and a slice of cake. Don’t worry about coming alone because there is always someone to talk to! Everyone is welcome and all profits go towards the upkeep of the Village Hall.
All staff are volunteers. If you’d like to get involved, please just ask. As well as people to help in the café, we also need homemade cakes to sell. Thank you to all the people who have provided delicious cakes in the past!
On Tuesday 17th November, there will be a talk on How to Avoid Scams by Frances Henderson, Fraud Prevention Specialist at Cumbria Police. This will be held in the meeting room at 15.00. The café will be running as usual in the main hall.
Come along to the café on Tuesday 1st December for carols with Stainton school choir and the switch-on of our Christmas tree lights (15.00-16.00)!
Creative Cuppa
Last Thursday of the month, 13.30-15.30
Sessions designed for people living with dementia (and carers) and those of us experiencing loneliness.
Join us for coffee, cake, conversation and creativity.

Messy Church
Second Friday of the month, 15.30-17.30
