Stainton Village Hall was officially opened by the children of Stainton C of E Primary School on Friday 22 March 2019. The event was attended by many of those who were involved in supporting the fundraising efforts for the construction of the new hall.
The new village hall is now open for business. Requests to use the hall can be made via this website by opening the diary, checking availability and submitting a booking request by following the instructions. If you need assistance please contact Julia Redgate tel.840171 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
This project would not have been possible without the dedication of the small group of village hall committee members, led by Jon Rush, and the significant grant funding received from The National Lottery Community Fund, the Cumbria Waste Management Environment Trust, The Lakes Free Range Egg Company, Eden District Council, Dacre Parish Council, Cumbria County Council, the Hadfield Trust and the Garfield Weston Foundation. The local community contributed a considerable amount to this project through fundraising and donations, aided by local businesses including the King’s Arms and Brantwood Country Hotel. Most recently, the Cumbria Clock Company kindly donated and fitted a wonderful clock.
To every individual and business who helped with this fantastic community project, with their time and with their money, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
